LGC Group is Hiring a QA Administrator Near Charleston, SC

Company Description

The Charleston LGC Group site manufactures Reference Materials (RM’s) and Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) to support the environmental, food safety, forensic, public health, petrochemical, and industrial hygiene industries. The site also manufactures environmental sampling products.

Job Description

  • Supervise, coordinate, and prioritize the site-specific activities of Quality Assurance including:
  • Maintain input to the Quality Management System procedures.
  • Handle internal and external (accreditation/customer) audits.
  • Review document changes, approve document changes, and maintain change records.
  • Maintain the Nonconformance Report system, ensuring root cause analysis, documentation, and address for all actions resulting from internal and external audit findings, concerns, observations, and non-conformances warranting a process change/corrective action.
  • Be responsible for the laboratory accreditations/registrations and any related processes, including the ISO 9001:2015 registration, the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation, the 17034:2016 accreditation, and other certifications that may be vital.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education/training/confirmed experience
  • Ability to acquire Internal Auditor certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biological Sciences
  • Prior experience with Quality Assurance, internal/ audits, and ISO standards (9001:2015, 17025:2017, 17034:2016)
  • Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor certification
  • Authority in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
